A 350 pound man failing three conditioning tests is not shocking to anyone. What may disgust an overwhelming majority is that this 350 pound man is not your average joe, but in fact a professional athlete in the National Football League.

I know what you’re thinking. He’s a diva. A cancer in the locker room. A quarterback’s worst nightmare. They already have Chad Ochocinco, they don’t need another loud mouth.

Kurt Warner has to be one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. His resume speaks for itself: 2-time NFL MVP, Super Bowl XXXIV MVP, and holds some of the NFL’s most prestigious QB records. There’s no doubt Kurt Warner will one day be in the Hall of Fame.

In the latest round of Player v Team, Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth wants out of Washington, preferring to play in a 4-3 scheme, not a 3-4 which is now being used in Washington. Haynesworth claims that Redskins Owner Daniel Snyder promised Haynesworth that a 4-3 system would be used. Haynesworth accepted his $21 million bonus in February and the Redskins want it back, but have no grounds to get their money back. Redskin players are calling out Haynesworth for being selfish and putting himself in front of the team. 

The NFL Draft was already over a month ago as we head into the days of summer. Memorial day is within sight while team’s begin their OTA programs. Those who enjoy the diamond along with the gridiron have something to hold them over for a few more months, while those whose love for the gridiron is matched by no other will have no choice but to watch NFL Network until the season arrives (less than 105 days for those who weren’t counting the days). There is the World Cup? (Oh, not that football)

Its a sad day for Ochocinco fans...  Or is it???

On Tuesday night, Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Chad Ochocinco and partner Cheryl Burke were eliminated from ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' competition.  Ochocinco and Cheryl finished fourth behind contestants Singer Nicole Scherzinger, US Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek, and sportscaster Erin Andrews.

Many have closed the book on JaMarcus Russell. I can’t say I understand the lack of patience. Russell has worked hard during the offseason and has all the makings of a Left Tackle as he currently weighs over 290 pounds.

Brian Cushing wins the AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the year Revote

Despite testing positive for performance enhancing related drugs during the 2009 NFL season, Houston Texans outside linebacker Brian Cushing won a revote conducted on Wednesday for the AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the year award.
